The Story
Ollie Mathews, is the well meaning but somewhat arrogant co-founder of BestFly, a high tech, millennial laden tech company. When his partner engineers a coup against him, he finds himself kicked out of the company and on the streets with nothing but the shirt on his back. Broken and broke, he swallows his pride and takes a job as a barista at a local coffee shop where he is embraced by the mutli-cultural and multi-aged patrons. At first, he is depressed and bemoans his situation, but over time, he finds himself inspired by his new friends to begin work on a new technology idea. With little to no money and a motley team assembled from coffee shop patrons, Ollie takes on his former company to discover whether he has found a better way to go digital.

Sol Nasisi wrote the script and composed the music and lyrics for Digital – The Musical. He has written over 200 songs including “She Doesn’t Know,” a minor hit in Boston during the 1980s. His short story, Redupity has been read over 1,000,000 times across the Internet.
Sol is also a twenty-year veteran of the technology world where he worked at Bank of America, Roxy.com and Flywire. He currently works as the Director of Digital Marketing at Bentley University. He also runs the social publishing company Booksie and the online writer’s workshop TheNextBigWriter. He is long-time crypto-enthusiast and the creator of GiftaBit.
Digital is a story that fuses his experiences in the technology world with his love for telling a good story set to some catchy tunes.
